The Associate Director provides management support for enterprise-wide safety, risk and sustainability programs. The Associate Director formulates and administers sustainability policies and programs, and manages the activities and budget of the Sustainability Office.

The Director of Sustainability performs duties pertaining to the development and implementation of energy and resource conservation strategies and policies, operational effectiveness of building systems, utility infrastructure systems, mechanical, electrical systems, and plans and oversees implementation of District’s Zero Net Energy (ZNE) goals.

The Energy and Sustainability Manager is responsible for District’s energy and sustainability program and stormwater management program in compliance with Board Policies, Administrative Regulations, the Sustainability Plan, and applicable codes and/or governing regulations. Develop and manage the District’s sustainability plan, strategic implementation plans with metrics for monitoring, site energy audits inclusive of assessments and analysis, preparation, and submission of the annual energy usage calculator report to the Community College Chancellor’s Office and improve overall energy and sustainability goals.

The Manager, Energy and Sustainability will be responsible for the overall management, implementation and development of a comprehensive energy and sustainability program. This includes energy efficiency, water conservation, renewable resource management, waste diversion and recycling, climate action planning, and sustainability outreach.

The Senior Sustainability Program Lead oversees the collection, organization, analysis, and reporting of sustainability data. They also play a pivotal role in championing efforts to bridge the gap between campus sustainability goals and the integration of sustainable practices across all divisions and departments.

The Sustainability and Environmental Safety Officer will work to integrate sustainable practices into all aspects of the organization’s operations to ensure commitment to a coordinated institutional sustainability effort.
