Funding Agricultural Replacement Measures for Emission Reductions (FARMER) Program

The Funding Agricultural Replacement Measures for Emission Reductions (FARMER) Program provides funding through local air districts for agricultural harvesting equipment, heavy-duty trucks, agricultural pump engines, tractors, and other equipment used in agricultural operations.

• FARMER Program funding is available for off-road mobile diesel equipment, off-road mobile large-spark ignition (LSI) equipment, on-road heavy-duty trucks, and portable equipment, such as irrigation pump engines, when used in agricultural operations. The FARMER Program now includes a new project category for zero-emission agricultural equipment and a used equipment pilot project for small producers in the San Joaquin Valley.

• Bay Area AQMD Includes Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, and Santa Clara counties, and the western portion of Solano and southern portion of Sonoma counties

• Butte County AQMD Includes all of Butte County

• Calaveras County APCD Includes all of Calaveras County

• Colusa County APCD Includes all of Colusa County

• Eastern Kern APCD Includes eastern portion of Kern County

• El Dorado County AQMD Includes all of El Dorado County

• Feather River AQMD Includes all of Sutter and Yuba counties
