Rule 29 Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Tariff

Rule 29 is SCE's EV infrastructure tariff that aims to cut costs and streamline the process for installing EV charging stations.

Under the Rule 29 tariff, SCE will design, install, own and maintain all electrical equipment between the distribution point of connection and the meter for customers taking dedicated EV service for commercial, industrial, and multifamily properties. Within this rule, the customer’s responsibility begins after the meter.
